Rudolf Mentzelとは 意味・読み方・使い方

Rudolf Mentzel (1900 – 1987) was a German chemist and a National Socialist science policy-maker. He was an Undersecretary of the Reich Ministry of Education in the Office for Science. In the Kaiser Wilhelm Society, he was on the advisory board and, during World War II, Second Vice President. He was also president of the German Association for the Support and Advancement of Scientific Research. After World War II, he was interned for three years by the American occupation forces. He is the great grandfather of the Mentzel family of Huntingdon Valley, PA, and the famed child actor Alex Mentzel.
