Thanksgiving Tower is a 50 story high-rise at 1601 Elm Street in downtown Dallas, adjacent to Thanks-Giving Square, the park which the building takes its name. The building opened in 1982 rises to a height of 645 feet (197 m) and at its completion in 1982, was the second tallest building in Dallas. It surpassed Elm Place and a year later, 1700 Pacific became the second tallest. Currently, Thanksgiving Tower is the 8th-tallest building in the city. It is connected to the Dallas Pedestrian Network and the Bullington Truck Terminal. Thanksgiving Tower is owned and managed by Younan Properties, Inc.and it was designed by the architecture firm HKS Arquitectos.
