Coined by Twitter user LiquidZulu in 2021 as neo- + prag, comparing perceived flaws of the Mises Caucus to those of the former Pragmatist Caucus. Unrelated to neopragmatism (the school of pragmatism influenced by analytic philosophy).

neoprag (plural neoprags)
- (US libertarianism, derogatory) A paleolibertarian who supports Donald Trump and the MAGA movement for pragmatic reasons.
- (by extension) Any libertarian who compromises their principles out of pragmatism.
