pegRNA (countable and uncountable, plural pegRNAs)

1. (genetics, molecular biology) A specialized guide RNA used in prime editing, comprising a single guide RNA (sgRNA) extended with a primer binding site (PBS) and a reverse transcription template (RTT) that encodes the desired genetic edit.
