CONTROL METHOD FOR FEATURE MAP FORMATION OF SELF-ORGANIZING NETWORK

To achieve position control of clusters on a post-learning feature map and, at the same time, an improvement in learning speed for a self-organizing network.

Three or more inputs can be used since data is generally projected to a two-dimensional state diagram so called a self organizing map even if there are three or more sensors, and control is performed by a projected result.

The control part 60 constitutes a block unit learning type self-organizing map together with a map 62, and identifies whether each pixel forms a moving object region or a background region by applying the feature data to the map 62.
