It was named during the construction of Kennon Road by American and Filipino builders. They had to set up eight camps on their way up to Baguio.

1. A sitio in the barangay of Camp Four, Tuba, Benguet, Philippines, situated along Kennon Road.

     I then needed to look for the parking / loading area of jeepneys with a “Camp 6” route. I thought the area around Burnham Park would be a good place to start since it was where many jeepneys within Baguio and Benguet can be found. A bunch of locals pointed me to a Jollibee branch nearby. I forgot the exact location of the jeepney stop now. All I can remember is that the “Camp 6” jeepneys should be found behind a Jollibee branch. I can’t say for sure, but I think the place was along T. Claudio Street corner Harrison Road.

     On May 13, Baguio Water District general manager Salvador Royeca called the attention of Fongwan through a letter over threats on its water sources in Amliang which is in Kabuyao and Camp 6, Tuba, Benguet. The general manager reported the turbidity seen at Dam 3 Stage 1 in Camp 6 was seemingly a result of the land development in the alleged Aliping property. This was established during an inspection conducted by the BWD April 28.
