The Kogan Agora was a planned Internet-enabled smartphone running the Android operating system for mobile devices. Developed by the Australian company Kogan Technologies, it was to have been supplied unlocked and intended for use on the networks of telecommunications companies internationally. The Agora was announced on the 4th of December 2008 and was the second device announced running the Android platform. Two versions of the device were planned, a standard version, and a pro version containing a 2 Megapixel camera, Wi-Fi and GPS functionality. The Kogan Agora was originally planned to launch on 15 December 2008, but was delayed until 29 January 2009. It was later delayed indefinitely, "due to potential future interoperability issues."
