MAGA Mike

1. (US politics, slang) Mike Johnson, American lawyer and 56th speaker of the House of Representatives.

   Johnson amassed enough support to win the speakership because of his allegiance to Trumpian ideals, earning him the nickname on the far right of “Maga Mike”.

   MeidasTouch host Ben Meiselas reports on Republican Speaker of the House MAGA Mike becoming the worse messenger for the Trump shutdown as every single time he speaks he makes things much weirder and much worse and Meiselas speaks with Democratic Congressman Jared Moskowitz who mercilessly destroys MAGA Mike for his behavior.

   Perhaps that’s why Trump, who used a social media post to help drive a dagger into Majority Whip Tom Emmer’s candidacy on Tuesday, used another to boost the man his loyalists call “MAGA Mike.”
