1. A person who flies frequently on commercial airliners.

   As he flew home every weekend, he considered himself a frequent flyer.

2. (informal, idiomatic, somewhat derogatory) Someone who is habitually a nuisance.

   Drunks tend to be the most common frequent flyers.

We didn't want to leave SF -- we love it there -- but we have a young kid and it seemed irresponsible to stay in a place where drug addicts commit home invasions to the point where they are called "frequent flyers."

3. (medicine, slang, idiomatic, derogatory) A patient who frequents a health facility, with minor or malingering-type presentations.
