Anwar Rasheed is a Malayali Indian film director. Notable for his debut film Rajamanikyam (2005) starring Mammootty which turned out to be one of the high grossing films in Malayalam cinema which ran for 201 days. His second feature film is Chotta Mumbai (2007) which had Mohanlal in the lead role become a hit & run for 100 days. He reunited with Mammootty for his third feature Annan Thambi (2008) also another hit of 130 days. All of his films are noted for their big budgets and super star driven comic narratives. He has also directed the segment bridge in Kerala Cafe for which he got several appreciations.
