Hugo Lloris (French pronunciation: [yɡo lɔʁis]; born 26 December 1986) is a French association football player who currently plays as a goalkeeper for French club Olympique Lyonnais in Ligue 1. He is also a French international and is currently the first-choice goalkeeper and vice-captain for both club and country. Lloris is described as a goalkeeper who "boasts lightning reflexes and good decision-making" and is "a formidable opponent in one-on-one situations". Lloris also "commands his box well". He is a two-time winner of the National Union of Professional Footballers (UNFP) Ligue 1 Goalkeeper of the Year award.
