Marie Horton (previously Merritt and Curtis) is a fictional character on the NBC soap opera Days of our Lives. She was played by Maree Cheatham (1965–1968; 1970–1973; 1994; 1996; 2010), Kate Woodville (1977), Lanna Saunders (1979–1985). Created by head writer Ted Corday, she is currently portrayed by Maree Cheatham, who is most recognizable in the role. She is the daughter of Dr. Tom Horton, and his wife Alice Horton. She is the mother of Jessica Blake Fallon, and the grandmother of Nick Fallon. Marie was head doctor at the Salem Lab Institute.
