Qiupalongとは 意味・読み方・使い方

Qiupalong is a genus of ornithomimid dinosaur. Qiupalong lived during the late Cretaceous period in what is now Henan Province, China. It is known from a single partial skeleton recovered from the Qiupa Formation. Qiupalong is the first definitive Asian ornithomimid from outside of the Gobi Desert and is the southern-most occurrence of Late Cretaceous Ornithomimidae from eastern Asia. Qiupalong was named by Li Xu, Yoshitsugu Kobayashi, Junchang Lü, Yuong-Nam Lee, Yongqing Liu, Kohei Tanaka, Xingliao Zhang, Songhai Jia and Jiming Zhang in 2011. The type species of Qiupalong is Q. henanensis. The generic name means Qiupa Formation dragon and the specific name refers to the Henan Province.
