atractomorphaとは 意味・読み方・使い方

Atractomorpha is a generic name in biology. It has been applied to two different genera at least. In taxonomy, the convention is that no two species, nor indeed any two taxa of the same regnum (kingdom), may have the same name. It is however, permissible for taxa in different regna to share the same name. For example, Atractomorpha is a genus in the Sphaeropleaceae, a family of algae, but also a genus in the Pyrgomorphidae, a family of grasshoppers. This article deals with the algae.
