a substance used to detect certain types of tumors, including pheochromocytomas and neuroblastomas. it contains a substance called iobenguane linked to a radioactive substance called iodine i 123. the tumor cells take up the adreview, and a machine is used to detect where in the body the cells are. it is a type of radioimaging agent. also called iobenguane i 123.

褐色細胞腫や神経芽細胞腫などの特定の種類の腫瘍を検出するために用いられる物質。ヨーベングアンという物質を含んでおり、これにヨウ素123と呼ばれる放射性物質が結合されている。腫瘍細胞はadreviewを取り込むため、専用の装置によって体内での腫瘍細胞の位置を特定することができる。放射線造影剤の一種である。「iobenguane i 123（ヨーベングアン i 123）」とも呼ばれる。
