Last Thursdayism

     Last Thursdayism is a response to omphalism which posits that, by the same logic, the world might have been created last Thursday (または, by implication, any given date かつ time), but with the appearance of age: people's memories, history books, fossils, light already on the way from distant stars, and so forth.

使用する際の注意点

Used to respond to claims of young-earth creationism that the Earth was created recently: in the same way, the world might have begun last Thursday with all the characteristics we observe today, with no way to disprove this.
