     the substance of moisture flows together from all rivers to the head, and from there returns over the lands in a sweet stream

2. (figuratively) to flock or crowd together, to come together in multitudes; to throng, assemble
   • 43 BCE, Cicero, Epistulae ad Brutum 74.258:

     multī cōnflūxērunt et Athēnās et in hanc urbem

     many people flocked both to Athens and to this city
