dub up (third-person singular simple present dubs up, present participle dubbing up, simple past and past participle dubbed up)

1. (transitive, slang) To put someone in prison, or into their individual cell.

   Synonym: bang up

2. (transitive, slang, dated) To give up money; to give in to demands for money; pay up.
