to name after (三人称単数 現在形 names after, 現在分詞 naming after, 過去形および過去分詞形 named after)
The object of the sentence may be inserted between the inflection of name and the word after; e.g.: the scientist names the germs he discovers after famous pop artists; or the scientist discovers germs, which he names after famous pop artists.
