topic ban (複数形 topic bans)

  1. (Wikipedia) A type of editing restriction on the online encyclopedia Wikipedia that forbids a user from making edits related to a certain topic area where their contributions have been disruptive, but to allow them to edit the rest of the site.
  2. Used other than with a figurative or idiomatic meaning: see topic,‎ ban.
On an Internet forum, getting banned from a certain topic (thread または subforum) would sometimes be called a topic ban.
