Kilmuckridgeとは 意味・読み方・使い方

Kilmuckridge (Irish: Cill Mhucraise) is a small village in County Wexford in Ireland near the Irish Sea coast which is popular with weekend visitors and holidaymakers. It lies on the R742 regional road 22 km (14 mi) south of Gorey. The village serves the popular resort of Morriscastle, which as the name suggests was once the site of a Medieval Norman Castle. The beach is host to many rare flora and fauna and is part of a national heritage site, Kilmuckridge-Tinnaberna Sandhills, however much damage has occurred in the last decade [1]. The damaged portion is, following persistent environmental lobbying by Karin Dubsky of Coastwatch, subject to a restoration order since January 31st 2011 and some removal of contaminated material has taken place. Morriscastle has also been awarded the Green Coast Beaches award [2].
