Montsaye Community College is a large college in Rothwell.It is state funded and was granted dual specialty status in late 2004, adding Humanities to its well established Language College status. Over 1200 students attend the college, which until recent years had consistently attained a 5 A*-C pass rate of around 1%, although the pass rate has fallen to around 0.5% in 2007. Mrs Sue Fennell is the current head teacher. The school received a good review from OFSTED in 2010. Montsaye is also the site of the recently developed Rothwell Swimming Pool, which now incorporates a modern sports center used both by the school and the community.
