Ryan Benjamin Tedder (born June 26, 1979) is an American Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter and record producer. He is best known as the frontman of the pop rock band, OneRepublic, though he has an independent career as songwriter and producer for various artists such as Beyonce, Far East Movement, Jordin Sparks, Leona Lewis, Adele, and Paul Oakenfold. Tedder is credited with having written the two most played songs in radio history ("Apologize", "Bleeding Love"), a record broken only by himself. He has received a total of four Grammy nominations, two for Beyoncé's "Halo", one for Leona Lewis's "Bleeding Love", and one for his own band OneRepublic's single "Apologize".
