1. (historical) A coin of Denmark first minted in 1749.
   • 1917, Albert Romer Frey, A Dictionary of Numismatic Names:

     Reisedaler. The name given to a silver coin issued by Frederick V of Denmark in 1749, and specially struck for Norway. It had a value of six Marks and appears to have been made of native silver.

   • 1948, The Numismatist, volume 61, page 572:

     Denmark's currency during the eighteenth century is somewhat involved. The speciedalers and reisedalers were the equivalent of 6 marks; the krone of 4 marks.

   • 1993, Numismatic Studies, volume 20, page 65:

     There were many other German and Scandinavian versions of the rix-dollar, rijksdaalder, reisedaler, or reichstaler rendering the definition of this coin very imprecise.
