This program will be implemented jointly by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare and the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology in order to promote the development and modification of medical devices to meet needs and challenges in clinical medicine by using SMEs manufacturing technologies. More specifically, the quality of medical care in Japan will be raised and new fields of manufacturing business will be developed by accelerating the commercialization of medical devices employing SMEs’ manufacturing technologies.
