出典:『Wiktionary』 (2026/05/15 20:28 UTC )

語源

Possibly inherited from Proto-Italic *-āntnos, see -undus. From the stem-final vowel -ā- of the first conjugation + -nd-, with regular shortening of a vowel before the cluster -nd-. Compare 2nd- to 4th-conjugation -endus.

Cognates include Oscan *-𐌀𐌍𐌔 / *-𐌀𐌍𐌍𐌔 (*-ans) (as attested in 𐌔𐌀𐌊𐌓𐌀𐌍𐌍𐌀𐌔 (sakrannas, nominative plural feminine) and 𐌞𐌐𐌔𐌀𐌍𐌍𐌀𐌌 (úpsannam, accusative singular feminine)) and Umbrian -𐌀𐌍𐌔 (-ans) (as attested in 𐌐𐌉𐌇𐌀𐌍𐌄𐌓 (pihaner, genitive singular)).
