grounders (uncountable)

1. (Canada, playground games) A playground game in which one person is chosen to be "it" (かつ must keep their eyes shut) and tries to tag others, who become "it" instead, either by touching them or by calling out "grounders" while they are on the ground (rather than on a climber).
