Live Stock is a 1975 album by Roy Buchanan and was released on the Polydor Records label. The cover photo was taken and sent to Roy by Australian music commentator Glenn A Baker. This release, recorded live in New York City, finds axeslinger extraordinaire Roy Buchanan doing what he does best: ripping up the fretboard. Backed by a hard-driving quartet that includes lead vocalist Billy Price, Roy stretches out on "Reelin' and Rockin'," "Hot Cha," "Can I Change My Mind" and his own "Roy's Bluz" and "I'm Evil" (on which he assumes vocal chores). The fare is blues-rock throughout, showing Buchanan's mastery over every nuance in his Fender Telecaster and his wide-ranging lexicon of chops (including scratching, wailing, tonal variations, and beautifully melodic passages) which makes for scintillating listening.
