Cygnus Superbubbleとは 意味・読み方・使い方

The Cygnus Superbubble is the bright (red, yellow) horseshoe-shaped extended galactic object at ~(80,0), just to the right of the third white line of longitude from the left edge of the galactic equator, in the ROSAT X-ray image at right. Mostly within the constellation Cygnus, but overlapping a little of Vulpecula and Lyra where these three constellations meet, is this large horseshoe-shaped X-ray ring 13° (450 pc) in diameter, at a distance of 2 kpc. This enormous astronomical X-ray source lies behind the Great Rift of Cygnus and thus has radiation from its central region absorbed.
