Saamy (Tamil: சாமி, Cāmi ^?) is a 2003 Tamil film starring Vikram and Trisha. The film is directed by Hari and music was composed by Harris Jayaraj. This film was a hit of the year and was a musical hit too. This film was later remade into Telugu as Lakshmi Narasimha, even though the original was dubbed into Telugu as Saamy IPS. Like other films directed by Hari this film also specialises a particular city and this time it is Tirunelveli.
