Seaford Rugby Club first 15 are among the toughest and most unforgiving teams in the southern area. Although they are not the most senior, higher placed or wealthiest teams around, they are one of the most feared. For many years now they have had a rep for having the toughest packs that never backs down and can never be intimidated. There have been many "Legends" produced by SRFC, they include Ian Newby,Karl kristiansen, Clive Sheppard, Joe Welch the late Narf Kohi and the great Romi Debril who played for France A. The legend statues is due to continue with players such as the uncomprimising back row Dan Newby, James Anderson, and Steve Dann and the backs duo, twins Paul and Chris Burns.
