Stereo Realistとは 意味・読み方・使い方

The Stereo Realist was a stereo camera that was manufactured by the David White Company from 1947 to 1971. It was the most popular 35mm stereo camera ever manufactured and started the era of stereo photography for the masses that continued even after it was no longer manufactured. A drawback of "Stereo Realist" type cameras are that the lenses are at a fixed separation, known as "fixed stereo base". Most stereo photographs require that the lens separation to distance to subject ratio comply to the ratio of the distance to the picture to the separation of the eyes. Pictures that don't comply usually appear flat or as a "relief" looking like a stack of cardboard cutouts.
