Coredase is a puzzle video game released July 23, 2010 for the Xbox Live Arcade and developed by Davedaape. It is based on the online game by YoYo Games but with more levels and features as well as enhanced graphics. The game's story is that the fictional planet Coredase is under threat of extinction, and the player must collect a set of "power slides" to save the planet. Gameplay is similar to Q*bert but is in complete 3D. The player controls a ball, which must bounce on all blocks in each stage. Each time a block is bounced on, it turns red, and when a block is red, it's not solid, meaning that the ball will fall off the playing field. There are also various gimmick blocks throughout the game; some cause the player to lose automatically, while others can make the ball bounce higher. There are 50 single player levels total. The game has a level editor as well as a multiplayer mode which consists of 20 levels. The object in multiplayer mode is to survive longer than the other players.
