David Yong Choi (최데이비드용) (born March 22, 1986) is a Korean American musician and YouTube video producer living in Los Angeles. He performs a mix of original songs and covers of pop hits. Choi released his first album, Only You, in October 2008. His second album, entitled By My Side, was released on May 18, 2010. He is a native Los Angeles singer/songwriter/producer whose songs and tracks have been heard on NBC, FOX, VH1, MTV, A&E, E!, Travel Channel, Style, PBS, Food Network, Disney, as well as in national commercials overseas. He has worked with companies such as Kelloggs, Starburst, American Cancer Society, GE, YesStyle, Samsung, and JC Penney. On YouTube, he has over 814,955 subscribers and over 92,143,522 total video views. Choi has also worked as a songwriter and producer at Warner/Chappell Music, which signed him on after his participation in an American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) workshop. He has done promotion for Starburst candy and J. C. Penney clothes. On February 21, 2009, he performed at the annual Kollaboration talent show.
