Holy Family Church Mannilaとは 意味・読み方・使い方

Holy Family Church Mannila is a church located in Kottayam district in the state of Kerala, India, about 10 km away from Changanacherry. The Church is under the control of Archdiocese of Changanacherry. Church was established on 1927. A cross was established on Mannilakunnu (a small hill area around 10 km from Changanachery) by Rev Fr. Karingida Thomma with the help of Marthoma Dasa Sangham (a Christian youth organization) members on 1927. This was the beginning of Holy Family Church Mannila. An official church was constructed on 1940 with the co operation of many people. Construction of the present church, over the old church, began after 51 years and was completed on 1995. Marthoma Dasa Sangham played an important role in the formation of Mannila church. The organization was founded by H. E. Mar Thomas Kurialassery in 1919. Mar Thomas Kurialassery arranged a training for Marthoma Dasa Sangham members at Parel minor seminary, Changanacherry. Rev Fr. Dominic Thottassery was the first president of Marthoma Dasa Sangham. They conducted prayers in remote areas, taught catechism to the people in Mannila which created a holy atmosphere at Mannila kunnu.
