The Rt Rev Peter John Nott (born 30 December 1933) was an Anglican Bishop in the latter half of the 20th century. Educated at Bristol Grammar School, Dulwich College and Fitzwilliam College, Cambridge, he began his career with a curacy at Harpenden after which he was Chaplain at his old college then Rector of Beaconsfield. In 1977 he was appointed Suffragan Bishop of Taunton. Translated to Norwich in 1985, he retired in 1999 but continues to serve the church as an Assistant Bishop within the Diocese of Oxford.
