Studio/Live is an album by the American psychedelic rock band Love. Released in 1982 on MCA Records it was a best of, or greatest hits compilation album of previous studio recordings, plus previously unreleased live recordings from the bands 1970 Bill Graham concerts. Competing with the new MTV generation, Studio/Live failed to gain much of a fresh ear, with listeners instead helping Michael Jackson's Thriller to the top of the List of best-selling albums worldwide. Listed as MCA Catalog number: MCA27025, Studio/Live is a well-crafted collaboration of soaring melodies, fresh lyrics, and a fusion of psychedelic folk and blues all their own. It was also released on compact cassette, for the burgeoning Sony Walkman generation.
