- (aviation) What an airline does when it replaces an originally scheduled aircraft with a larger one of a similar type.
- A flight is initially scheduled on a Boeing 737-800. Due to high demand, the airline might upgauge the flight to a Boeing 737-900, which has a larger passenger capacity.
