        Getting on the racing circuit wasn't as difficult as some of the fire training that Brechl experienced. Brechl said, " I went to a mini-cup race as a spectator in 1995, and was asked if I could substitute for one of the drivers. I had never raced a miniature-sized car before, but ended up beating the track champion. I've been racing ever since."
