mosh call (plural mosh calls)

1. A shouted cue or musical prompt given by a performer, typically in hardcore or metal performances, intended to incite or signal the start of moshing among the audience.

     It’s a glorious pact between band and audience to go hard as balls, and for me, no moment better embodies this utopian pursuit than the 'mosh call.'
