Alex Obomese (born May 9, 1984 in Houston, Texas) is a former American football player. He attended Westbury High School and graduated in 2002 then he later attended UTEP. He played college football at UTEP from 2003 to 2005. In 2005, Obomese was selected as a second-team All-Conference USA player and totaled 57 tackles, 6.5 sacks, 10.5 tackles for loss and 2 interceptions. He was not drafted in the NFL Draft. He participated in training camp with the Dallas Cowboys in the summer of 2007 but did not make the regular season roster. He was drafted with the 30th pick in the 5th round of the 2008 All-America Football League Draft by Team Alabama.
