Shepherd Walton Clark (born March 1, 1971 in Atlanta, Georgia) is an American former competitive figure skater. He won the silver medal at the 1989 World Junior Figure Skating Championships. The next season, he won the Nebelhorn Trophy. He won the pewter medal at the 1998 United States Figure Skating Championships. Mr. Clark, "Shepherd" throughout his record long Olympic Eligible career has competed and performed all over the world, and is believed to be the first skater to land the triple-lutz / triple-loop combination, which he could land at just 15 years of age. Irina Sluzkaia is the first woman to perform this extremely difficult combination. He is also known to have landed the triple axel-triple loop and developed the quadruple loop jump, which he would typically and slightly "two-foot" on the landing. To date, no skater has landed the extremely difficult quadruple loop jump cleanly in competition.
