skyride (plural skyrides)

1. Synonym of aerial lift (“a system of transport that moves cabins, cars, gondolas or open chairs above the ground by means of one or more cables strung between supporting towers”).

     It is the view of this Section that an agreement between the two Governments would not be necessary for construction of the proposed 'skyride' and we know of no reason why such an agreement would be desirable. Although unique, an international 'skyride' would seem to be generally comparable to an international bridge.
