Brighton Prideとは 意味・読み方・使い方

Brighton Pride was a registered charity from Brighton and Hove in England promoting equality and diversity, and advances education to eliminate discrimination against the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community. It raised awareness of issues by promoting and staging a series of events including Winter Pride and the annual free summer festival and making grants and/or donations to other charitable and voluntary organisations. Its key objective was to develop an environment in favour of LGBT equality by providing information, advice and support. The charity was disestablished in 2010, however, the events will still continue at a cost to participants.
