Ivan Klisanin is a Grammy nominated record producer from Lafayette, La. He has produced or engineered critically acclaimed records for BeauSoleil (Live in Louisiana), Bluerunners (Honey Slides), Feufollet (Cow Island Hop, En Couleurs) and Chubby Carrier (Zydeco Junkie, Bayou Road, Chubby Party, Take Me to the Zydeco, and It's Party Time). Ivan was nominated for 2 Grammys on December 1, 2010 for his production work on Chubby Carriers Zydeco Junkie and Feufollets album En Couleurs, which has been hailed by Elvis Costello as "one of the most beautifully melodic records I've heard all year." He has worked with many of Louisiana's top Cajun Music and Zydeco Bands. Ivan has produced two albums with the New Orleans Indie Rock Band Rotary Downs (Chained to the Chariot,Cracked Maps and Blue Reports). The band is a two time winner (2008 and 2009) of the "Best Rock Band" category in the prestigious Big Easy Music Awards. Ivan has also worked on over two dozen episodes of the nationally syndicated radio show American Routes with host Nick Spitzer. Ivan has a Bachelor's degree in Music Media, and a Master's degree in Theory and Composition with a focus on music production from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
