「close」は、一般的に店舗や施設が一時的に営業を終了する状況を指す。日常的な表現であり、特定の時間に定期的に行われる行為を示すことが多い。ただし、恒久的な閉鎖を指す場合もある。
「close」は、「time(時間)」、「early(早く)」、「late(遅く)」、「temporarily(一時的に)」などの単語や表現と一緒に使われることが多い。
