   • 29 BCE – 19 BCE, Vergilius, Aeneis 4.8-9:

     cum sīc ūnanimam adloquitur male sāna sorōrem:
     “Anna soror, quae mē suspēnsam īnsomnia terrent!”

     When, badly distraught, [Dido] speaks in this way with her like-minded sister: “Anna, [dear] sister, [I am] restless — what dreams frighten me!”
