用例

• 馬関と門司は海峡を隔てている
  Bakan and Moji have the straits between them.

• 馬関と門司は海峡を隔てて相対す
  Bakan and Moji face each other with the straits between them―across the straits.

  Moji stands across the straits.
• 両軍は河を隔てて対陣した
  The two armies faced each other with the river between them―across the river.
