• Considered blasphemy and thus taboo by many Christians. Some variations of this usage include Jiminy Cricket, jeepers creepers, other variations that begin with the letters J C, or phrases that sound similar such as cheese and rice. These are often considered acceptable substitutions for people who are trying not to swear, but have already started the first consonant sound. See The Adventures of Tom Sawyer, by Samuel L. Clemens (Mark Twain), for more examples.
• Jesus fucking Christ, on the other hand, is even more explicit.
