(2) The filing date of a patent application shall be the date on which the documents referred to in Section 34(3), nos. 1 and 2, have been received and, if they contain any statements that would appear to constitute a description, the date on which documents referred to in Section 34(3), no. 4, have been received 1. at the Patent Office; or 2. at a Patent Information Center if said Center has been designated for said purpose in an announcement by the Federal Ministry of Justice in the Federal Law Gazette [Bundesgesetzblatt].
